Carbon Emissions Offset

Not that I am totally green, but even I know that we need to take measures to offset the harm we do to the environment. This is why I am proposing that every concerned citizen buy a tree and plant it sometime during the New Year. Some people may laugh at this minuscule effort, but starting somewhere is important.


Therefore, in support of this idea, I am looking into the cost of purchasing pine saplings that are native to our area and making it open to the public the ability to have me plant a tree in their stead to save our planet. I have a small farm and this would be a project that could make a difference.

The donation that I would receive for doing this would be left up to you. In return for the donation, I will plant a tree and tag your name to it. I will email you that I have planted a tree because of you. This tree will have your name tagged to it for all of 2008. My hopes are to plant these trees and watch them grow.
